Product Development:  Simple to Launch Fully Insured Dental Plan in 2012

November 8, 2011:  Simple has tentatively agreed to offer a fully insured dental plan to, available in specific states, in the third quarter of 2012.

Steve Schultz, Simple’s CEO, described the product as, “Providing the best of both worlds.  Now any size employer can have the benefits of the simple design in an Simple dental plan, while being able to enjoy the protection of having a guaranteed fixed budget.”

Commenting on the type of employers who will want this new plan, Mr. Schultz stated: “We see two primary markets: smaller employers, typically below 100 or 200 employees who need a fixed budget for dental benefits, with no risk, and municipalities, including school systems. With the tight tax situation, they may not have the flexibility for spikes in claims that occur once or twice a year.”

Simple is proud to announce the addition of Jennifer Johnson as a new Account Manager. Jennifer will assist new clients who come aboard in any product group and will also be responsible for providing service to clients and brokers on an ongoing basis.
